Lori’s Background
Lori has been in Marketing and Sales for over 30 years. An electrical engineer by education, she has always preferred the marketing side of technology. After graduating from UC Berkeley, Lori went to work for a major Silicon Valley computer manufacturer and was trained by the “best of the best” in sales and marketing. Lori quickly became a sought after trainer and leader who traveled the country sharing her knowledge.
What? She Becomes Unemployable?
It didn’t take long for Lori to feel uncomfortable with how corporations are run, the decisions being made for “political” reasons versus sound business reasons, and how the “good ole boys” network was a part of nature and would always exist at some level in it’s various forms (big corporations, government, huge nonprofits, etc.)
Lori became psychologically unemployable at the age of 22. Luckily Lori had worked as an Engineering Assistant all through college and had no student loans or debt to be concerned with so she left the corporate environment and struck out on her own.
As Her Own Boss, Creativity Flows
“Lori Mooney Consulting” was born and Lori took on the work from her “old corporate JOB” and did it for herself. An entrepreneur was born, or more precisely, released! Lori believes that some people are just born with an entrepreneurial way of thinking and that makes it much easier, and more natural, for those people to go out on their own.
Some people need to learn these skills and work harder to get out of their comfort zone, take that risk and make a pile of money. But this came easy to Lori, a born entrepreneur.
From consulting to a software development company and then one morning on the way to a sales call, everything changed. Lori’s back was seriously injured in an automobile accident. That accident ultimately ended Lori’s “high-tech” career.
Being immediately thrust into the medical & disability communities, Lori turned the lemons she was given into lemonade – she created a retail store marketing back care specialty products. That chain of retail stores is still operating today.
Lori also donated her time to many other newly disabled workers to help them re-create their careers by starting businesses that they can run with their physical limitations.
Sets People Up In Profitable Home-Based Businesses
Lori sets people up with their own on-line business and teaches them how to make A LOT of money. She accomplishes this by applying her “secret success strategy” to every client. By leveraging her client’s existing talents and abilities and outsourcing what the client does not want to do, a business is created that doesn’t feel like work to do. That is when a client’ profits skyrocket and they can begin to live the life of true time and financial freedom.

Since few of us were taught to be entrepreneurs, Lori teaches and empowers her clients to develop the proper mindset for success. Why do so many businesses that are started fail within a few months or years? Lori believes it is because we are not trained how to succeed.
