Skype Tip: How To Turn Off The “Bleeps”

by on December 13, 2010

Skype is a powerful tool that us marketers have running in the background at all times. It is the most efficient way to communicate with your clients and team members.

BUT, Skype has a major drawback that causes many to turn it off all together. That is the annoying “bleep” sound that is makes EVERY time someone posts anything to you or a Skype group you are a part of.

My mentor, Mike Hobbs, has created a short video that shows you exactly how to turn that annoying “bleep” off so that you are not interrupted while you are doing other things.

So, turn off the annoying “bleeps” and use Skype to it’s fullest.

Thanks Mike!

2019 Update: Mike has taken down this video but my friend Karl Airey has a great video about getting started with Skype…

Hi Lori,
Thanks for sharing as I’ve wondered how to stop these “beeps” on Skype, and have just been turning down the volume on my laptop to not have to hear them when I’ve got Skype open. 😉
